Recently, Puyi has invested more than RMB 10 million for its own ground-based laboratory. Equipped with internal combustion engine, desulfurization equipment and monitoring equipment, the laboratory is used to simulate and test desulfurization technology with open-loop, closed-loop and hybrid system under multiple operating modes, thus to further optimize the system and better shipowners’ understanding of the product. 

The matching chemical analysis laboratory is mainly used for relevant analysis and experiment, such as water quality analysis of water source and wash water, routine test of desulfurizing solution and residue, etc.

Weihai Puyi  Environmental Technology Co., Ltd. is a high-tech enterprise specializing in marine emission reduction, its business covering production, installation and commissioning. In cooperation with Dalian Maritime University, Puyi started its R&D in marine desulfurization technology in 2012, receiving strong support from government institutions including a funding support of RMB 35 million. During its history of over a decade, Puyi has obtained more than 10 authorized invention patents, 20 authorized utility model patents, 4 international patents and 1 computer software copyright.
